I’ve also built a resource page to help us better understand what’s happening—causes, effects and emerging solutions—and find resources for inspiration.

The Edge Flow project brings together dozens of leading thinkers, artists, social scientists, healers, entrepreneurs and change makers to reflect on how personal transformation and creative innovation can help solve the single greatest crisis we now face as a global society.

Taken as a whole they give testament to a strong new narrative of positive change emerging around the world:

In pushing the edges of creative exploration, self-knowledge and personal empowerment, we become a stronger force for good—driving innovation and social change in the world. And this simple truth may well be our greatest hope in saving our civilization from extinction.

Because beyond the darkness of our species is the great love and light — the vast brilliance, the resourcefulness, the ingenuity of human intelligence. And the people who really care, working hard to make a difference in whatever way we can. And we are as bright and numerous as the stars above…

Some say the future is already predetermined, as a result of our short-sightedness, with water full of toxic waste and maybe even combative robots who see humans as a scourge on the tiny blue planet that we share. That’s one possible future vision, but it’s not the one I see in my imagination. It is possible that with our best, most focused efforts, we might end up collaboratively creating something even more spectacular than what we can envision. — Rita J. King, Forbes Online

As I’ve been putting together this project and looking deeper to find out what all these remarkable people on our planet have been coming up with, I’ve been progressively more blown away and filled with hope!

As Paolo Coelho once said:

“It is we who nourish the Soul of the World, and the world we live in will be either better or worse, depending on whether we become better or worse. And that’s where the power of love comes in. Because when we love, we always strive to become better than we are.” (The Alchemist)

It’s time to rewrite the narrative of our age. From separation, destruction and conflict, to strength, love generosity and valor—rooted in the Truth of who we really are.

Now is the hour. If not now, then when…?

With great love and hope,
